What we do…..
Hardwood/Engineered Hardwood Flooring
Hardwood is one of the most popular flooring surfaces and has been for centuries. Hardwood is milled from timber and comes in a variety of styles, colors, cuts and species. It is durable and stands the test of time. With the popularity of larger planks, Engineered Hardwood has taken off. This style of flooring consists of a solid wood top on a plywood core. Engineered Hardwood also stands up better in our climate, reducing movement and gaping that can be a complaint as you get into wider style planks.
Laminate/Vinyl Flooring
Also referred to as a floating floor, laminates/vinyls have become very popular due to their durability and affordability. These products are a printed image on HTF (high density fiber) or SPC (stone plastic composite) to mimic the look of wood, without the cost or maintenance. These products are great for rental units, high traffic areas and commercial flooring. Many wood suppliers have made very high-end products over the years. You may find it very tough to see the difference between wood once installed.
Wood Stairs
With many home owners opting out of carpet within the home, wood stairs have been becoming more and more popular, and a statement piece! With so many different styles your creativity can take flight.
Cork Flooring
Cork flooring is made from the bark of the cork oak tree, a material which is ground, processed into sheets and baked in a kiln to produce tiles that serve as flooring for homes, basements, offices and light commercial. Looking for something different? You will also love that cork flooring is one of the most renewable sources for flooring there is!
Commercial Flooring
Gone are the days of carpet in commercial spaces. Many businesses not only find wood/laminate/vinyl flooring more economical, durable, and low maintenance, but it also gives your business a trendy high-end look. We’ve had the pleasure of creating beautiful commercial flooring all over Alberta. Check out one of our favorite projects, the Roots store in Chinook Centre.
Composite Decking
We took our expertise outdoors! Composite decking is a low-maintenance decking material made from recycled wood fibers and recycled plastic. Because composite decking products are so durable and impervious to rot, they have a much longer lifespan than wood decks. they do not require the staining, sanding, sealing, and board replacement that come along with wood decks. Though they do require more of an initial up-front investment, a composite deck more than makes up for that initial cost over the lifespan of the deck. Check out our favorite deck to date with this beautiful herringbone design!
Wood & Shiplap Walls
Looking for your home to match the latest trends you see on TV?! Adding some character to your home can be easy just by adding a feature wall of wood or shiplap. Contact us for a free in-home consultation and let us show you how easily it can transform your space.
Custom Woodwork
We love custom projects! Whether it’s adding open shelving in kitchens and bathrooms, built-in’s in living rooms, or office work stations. The possibilities are endless! We even used left over flooring that was lying around to turn this empty space into a perfect homework station for kids.
